• The NYSMCA Delegation introduced three bills at the Springfield Statewide Assembly

Bill 1 - Requiring Bias Audits of the Use of Artificial Intelligence Decision Making Tools in College Admissions

• Passed Both Houses

• Signed into Law by YAG Governor

Bill 2 - Prohibiting the use of sirens in radio broadcasting and streaming services

• Passed Both Houses

• Signed into Law by YAG Governor

Bill 3 - Requiring Notice of Recording in Online Services

• Passed By Senate

• Ran out of time in House

• At Assembly at the State Capital in Springfield, IL, 47 bills were introduced.  Only 19 passed into law.  2 of the bills were from the NSYMCA YAG Delegation!

• Illinois State Representative Bob Morgan and Representative Tracy Katz Muhl speak at the YAG meeting.
